Installing & Configuring Modules

Installing The Extra Modules: Email, Pro, Reporting, Unlimited
This is very simple. If you received any of the extra modules separately from the basic Dynamic URLS software, just upload the file folders to the “modules” folder located under /purl_admin/modules/

You would have received the files as a *.zip compressed archive. Unzip the files using a file decompression utility like Winzip or UltimateZip. The resulting file should be a folder that is named the same as the module (i.e.: Email, Pro, Reporting, and/or Unlimited)

Be sure to upload the module folder EXACTLY AS-IS, in binary mode

Setting folder permissions to CHMOD 777 – these are additional tasks required to ensure proper operation of the software:
If you have the “PRO MODULE”
• /purl_admin/modules/pro/data_mapping/csv_bin/ (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE PRO MODULE)

If you have the “REPORTING MODULE”
• /purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/cache/ (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE REPORTING MODULE)
• /purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/config/ (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE REPORTING MODULE)
• /purl_admin/modules/reporting/clickheat/logos/ (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE REPORTING MODULE)
• You will need to use the SAME password in the Clickheat module as configured in the DynamicURLS Settings, or the function will not work.
