Adding a NEW campaign:
Click on the “Add New Campaign” link. The “Add New Campaign” Screen will open up.
Choose a campaign name by entering in a name in the text box
Select a template from the dropdown menu
Choose a name for the folder. The folder will appear in the URL, so make sure it is something short and easy to remember. You can leave this blank for ONE CAMPAIGN ONLY.
If you have identified any user groups, choose the groups that you wish to add to the campaign.
Select the users that you wish to target with your campaign in the box entitled “User Base” and click the “>>” arrow icon to move the users to the “Selected Users” box
If everything looks good, click on the “Add This Campaign” button.
If you are not sure, don’t worry. You can always come back and edit your campaign.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can run ONE CAMPAIGN at the ROOT level (i.e.: without using a folder). After that, you need to run your campaigns in separate folders.
Installation troubleshooting: if you discover you are unable to run a campaign at the domain root, or if you find you are not capturing page hits and reporting details at the root level, it may mean that you have not given the software full read-write-execute (CHMOD 777) access at that level.
Editing a campaign:
Existing campaigns can be edited by either clicking on the Campaign Name in the appropriate left column, or the pencil icon in the far right column.
Deleting a campaign:
Campaigns can be deleted by clicking on the red X icon in the far right column. Alternately, any one the checkboxes in the far left column can be selected and deleted by clicking the red X icon that has the “With Selected” text attached.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no way to recover a deleted campaign! All details associated with a campaign are also deleted – including reporting and tracking, emails – everything! Do so at your own risk.
Running a Campaign:
Running a campaign is the activity that assigns templates to users and creates personal URL addresses out of your contact lists. To run a campaign, simply click on the link that says “Run A Campaign”.
